Kosher Passover – not without the most popular Matzoh Ball dish!
Adhere to the “Freezer Tricks” and double or perhaps triple the dish, and you will enjoy them repeatedly..
CLUB MATZOH BALLS
- 2 TBS. cooking oil
- dash of pepper
- 1/3 cup club soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 big eggs, segregated
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup matzoh meal
Within a large bowl, whip egg yokes. Incorporate water, cooking oil, salt as well as pepper to eggs; combine well.
Include matzoh dish then stir extensively, incorporate club soda or perhaps seltzer and then combine very well.
Create a “snow” with the egg whites then add to concoction gradually.
Put in refrigerator for TWENTY minutes to set.
Form in to balls the size of walnuts using damp palms and then drop straight into 1 1/2 qt. of boiling, salted water or perhaps soup.
Cook semi-covered for 20 minutes.
Remove by using slotted spoon to your Tupperware container then store inside refrigerator.
For you to freeze for individual removing from freezer: position matzoh balls on foil covered tray and place in freezer uncovered for 20 minutes.
Foil acts as a conductor then quick-freezes foods for specific freezing. Putting in Tupperware storage containers prevents freezer burn.
For a definitely easy CHOCOLATE MOUSSE without eggs enjoy the next dish. It’s a favourite amongst the family and friends at my Tupperware get-togethers. It may be used all year ‘round, not especially for Kosher Passover, but I do think it can fit very well to any Kosher Passover recipes. I switch the mousse using smaller pieces of my personal SIX MINUTE CHOCOLATE cake, topped together with whipped cream for an “instant trifle”! Use it with any Kosher Passover recipe for cakes, or even lady fingers for just the perfect closing for your meal!
QUICK CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
1 – 8 oz. whipped topping, defrosted 2 TABLESPOONS. cocoa powder
3 TBS. sugar (or Splenda or perhaps Xylitol)
In a bowl, combine all ingredients till it makes brisk peaks.
Chill in airtight Tupperware containers in refrigerator till prepared to serve.
Fill pre-baked pastry tarts with mousse; top with whipped cream. Or even complement sliced bits of chocolate cake using whipped cream to get a “mini-trifle” dessert! Spread ground filbert nuts above. For Passover recipes alternative with ladyfingers. Like it!
